Welcome to our Dadly Does It training hub
Welcome to our training hub about positive fatherhood.
Our experience is that people who work with children and families want to learn more about how to engage and work with dads and those in a father-like role.
We want to offer learning and training about this, informed by our many years’ experience of working with dads.

Welcome – Dadly Does It!
Most dads love their children and want the best for them. Wanting to be a good dad is a strong motivator for men to make positive changes.
Dads have a significant impact on their child’s development, whatever their relationship and whether or not they live in the same household. The well-being of fathers directly affects the well-being of their children, and their ability to care for them.
The role of dads has changed over time, but they are still often an underused asset in the lives of children and young people.
We want to help you to provide lighthouses and harbours for all parents to navigate any rough waters that they encounter.

Training Courses
Our courses are based on the Dadly Does It approach, which uses strengths-based working with dads.
The approach includes the dad when working with a family. If possible, it supports equitable working with dad and mum as a team, while recognising their differences and similarities.
It also enables dads to work positively together, ‘shoulder to shoulder’.
The Dadly Does it approach to positive fatherhood leads to improvements in: the well-being of children and young people; the quality of family relationships; the well-being of partners/ex-partners. Dads improve their self-control, self-confidence and well-being. Demands on services and professionals consequently reduce.
